L'affare has been part of Wellington's coffee story since before specialty coffee was even a thing. The College Street roastery and café is an institution — watch the roasters at work through the glass while you drink some of NZ's most recognised coffee. The space is bright, the coffee is consistently excellent, and the history runs deep. If Wellington is the coffee capital of New Zealand, L'affare is one of the founding families.
