The conservation work here is world-class — they care for 1/6th of the entire surviving Whitaker's skink population and run breeding programmes for some of our rarest species. Get up close with the cheeky kea, the nationally endangered tuatara, and the only sun bears in Australasia. The world's first CarboNZero certified zoo.
