Nestled a block back from the Lyall Bay dunes, Parrotdog's taproom takes inspiration from traditional pubs — cosy booths, a pool table with brewery views, and 17 revolving taps showcasing their core range and Lyall Bay specials. Surfers rock up in jandals with a board under one arm, dog walkers bring their pooches inside to cool off. 'Come as you are' is the mantra, and it shows. The hazy IPA is consistently one of NZ's best — brewed right here on site.
